Sixth Form Open Evening

We warmly welcome Year 11 students and their families to explore our Sixth Form and discover what makes our community so special.

  • Date: Tuesday 10th November

  • Time: 6.00pm – 8.45pm

  • Location: Upper Site, Mill Mount, York, YO24 1BJ

Event Details

Throughout the evening, our school will be open for you to:

  • Tour our departments and specialist facilities.

  • Meet and speak with subject teachers to discuss courses and entry requirements.

  • Chat with current Sixth Form students about their experiences.

Presentation Schedule

The Headteacher and Head of Sixth Form will deliver an informational talk outlining our vision, academic pathways, and student support. Four identical sessions are available:

  • Session 1: 6.00pm – 6.30pm

  • Session 2: 6.45pm – 7.15pm

  • Session 3: 7.30pm – 8.00pm

  • Session 4: 8.15pm – 8.45pm

Important Note: To manage capacity, bookings are limited to a maximum of 1 student and up to 2 parents/carers.

Please note: If you reserve a space for the final presentation (8.15pm – 8.45pm), please ensure you tour the school and speak with subject staff before attending your talk, as departments will close at 8.45pm.

There is no parking available on site or access for taxis/ubers on Mill Mount. The nearest public car park is 10 minutes away at Nunnery Lane or on-street parking is available close to the race course.
